Semester achievement exams are proctored. Ashworth College makes every effort to grade exams the same day they receive them.

Q. What are the prerequisites for enrollment?

For the vast majority of Ashworth College course offerings, you'll need no special training or education or experience to enroll. However, some courses require a high school diploma, or an introductory level of technical ability or familiarity with the subject matter. For details, read the individual Course Description to see if your course has any prerequisites.

Ashworth College's High School Program teaches the 8th through 12th grades. In order to evaluate any previous high school credits for transfer purposes, Ashworth College will need your previous high school transcript.

Ashworth College offers year-round enrollment. If you're ready to start, Ashworth College is ready to accept you now!

Q. Will I have to buy anything extra after I enroll?

All of your texts, lessons, study guides, workbooks, supplemental references, and any special supplies are included with your tuition. They're all yours to keep and use, both while you study and later in your career. Some of Ashworth College's computer training courses require the use of an IBM-compatible computer.

The High School program requires use of computer or typewriter for some courses; others require a tape recorder; others require a scientific calculator. These are not furnished by Ashworth College. At graduation, you'll receive your handsome, personalized, nationally accredited diploma. You will want to display it proudly, as it represents your dedication to achievement and your success at reaching an important educational goal.

Graduates will receive their very own custom-sized class ring, inlaid with the school seal and featuring a beautiful, genuine cut stone.

Q. How long should it take for me to graduate?

Most of Ashworth College's career diploma programs are designed to be completed within nine months to a year. However, you will be allowed up to two years from your date of enrollment to complete your course of study. There are no other deadlines, and you will never be pressured by Ashworth College to finish. You set your own pace of study, taking as little or as much time as you need to thoroughly study and learn to get the most out of your studies.

For students in the High School program, you will be allowed up to 12 months to complete each year of your program. It's possible to complete a typical year of high school in six months. You may apply for an extension.

Q. Could I be reimbursed by my company or the military for taking this program?

Your company may be able to take advantage of the Employee Education Assistance Act (IRS Code, Section 127), which may allow for partial or full reimbursement of your tuition. Check with your supervisor or human resources department.

Ashworth College is qualified under the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support, or DANTES program. If you are on active or reserve military duty, you may be eligible to receive partial reimbursement for your tuition upon completion of your program.
