Early Childcare Assistant (ECA) Diploma
This intense, fast track program gets you career ready in just 7 months and includes 8 weeks of practical 'on the job' training. There is a high demand for early childcare assistants due to the increasing demand for childcare services in Ontario.
Algonquin's goal for this program is to have students develop current, practical knowledge and skills to perform competently, effectively, and safely as an ECA. Students can gain and build on their communication, leadership, interpersonal, and technical skills. Intra-Oral Dental Assisting Diploma: Level 1 and 2 Courses

Personal Support Worker Certificate

Pharmacy Assistant Diploma
Algonquin's Pharmacy Assistant program is focused on teaching the essential knowledge and skills you need to begin a career in a community pharmacy, which could happen in as little as 8 months.
The scope of practice for a pharmacy assistant is not as broad as that of a registered pharmacy technician.
