Canadian Automotive and Trucking Institute Programs


Automotive Service Advisor

CATI will teach you to successfully handle the customer service and administrative aspects of an automotive business. From dealership operations and customer care to conflict resolution and inventory control, you will gain a broad range of skills. CATI will also teach you a variety of industry-current computer software applications, including Automotive Business Management Systems (ABMS), Snap-On Shop Key, and International Parts Cooperation (IPC).

Automotive Technician

The curriculum for this program is split into two sections: theory and practical shop experience. You will learn to work on every system found on a vehicle, including brakes, ABS, engine, transmissions, fuel, exhaust, heating and air conditioning, suspensions, and steering. CATI will also provide you with a variety of professional workplace skills, from repair facility dynamics and effective communication to personal and workplace safety.

Transportation Operations and Dispatching

This program covers both the theoretical and operational aspects of the transportation industry, including modern operations and advancements. From fleet maintenance and administration to driver management and load securement, you will be prepared to efficiently handle the day-to-day operations of a trucking company. CATI will also teach you industry-current computer software applications, including PC Miler, Can-Com Onboard Satellite System, Freight Logix, LoadLink, and Fleet Manager.
